About PowerDMARC

PowerDMARC runs email authentication for security and IT teams: DMARC, SPF, DKIM, BIMI, MTA-STS, and TLS-RPT from one platform. It stops domain spoofing, phishing, and business email compromise before any of it reaches an inbox.

Founded in 2020, bootstrapped, and now protecting organizations across more than 70 countries. Two buyer types: enterprise security teams working through compliance mandates, and MSPs, MSSPs managing authentication across long lists of client domains.

Buyers in this category start with a search box, and increasingly an AI assistant. PowerDMARC's SEO fundamentals were solid. Its visibility on both surfaces wasn't.

They brought in TripleDart to close that gap.

The Challenge

Three gaps sat on top of otherwise healthy fundamentals.

Figure 1. Baseline at kickoff, measured across PowerDMARC's tracked page set and against its direct competitor set inside AI answers.

A Widening AI Search Gap

Buyers in this category ask ChatGPT or Gemini before they open a search engine. PowerDMARC's share of voice against direct competitors inside AI answers sat at 23.8% at kickoff. On ChatGPT specifically, closer to 1 in 20 citations.

An Underused Content Library

Years of checkers and setup guides sitting on page 2 and 3. Only about 1 in 6 tracked pages held a top 10 spot. Average position on the rest: mid-20s.

A Crowded, Well-Funded Competitive Set

EasyDMARC, Valimail, Dmarcian, and Red Sift were all chasing the same commercial keywords and the same AI citations. PowerDMARC's lead over EasyDMARC, its closest rival: about 1.2x on citation volume. Not much room for a slow quarter.

Strong product. Deep library. Neither one getting credit on either search surface.

What We Did

Timeframe: Seven months (Dec 2025 to Q2 2026). Organic strategy across content refresh, new content production, and AI search visibility work (AEO).

Took over PowerDMARC's organic strategy in December 2025. Ran an audit first, then mapped the priority commercial keyword set across both personas. Traditional SEO and AI search ran together from there, not in sequence.

Figure 2. How the engagement was sequenced. The two bars at the bottom ran continuously alongside the dated workstreams.

Refreshing the Existing Library

The fastest lever at kickoff: PowerDMARC's own back catalog.

  • Audited the tracked page set and ranked every page by distance from page 1
  • Rewrote the closest-to-page-one pages first
  • Published the bulk of the refresh list by the end of Q1 2026
  • Held every page in the set at or above its starting position. None lost visibility across the engagement

Average position on that set moved from 24.5 to 12.4 by the end of Q4 2025, weeks after kickoff. That's what told us to finish the back catalog before publishing anything new.

Competitor Alternatives Page Revamp

Rebuilt the alternatives set: Sendmarc, Red Sift OnDMARC, Valimail, DMARCReport, AutoSPF, DMARCLY, and Dmarcian alternatives.

  • Rewrote each page around the decision a prospect is making at that moment
  • Led with feature and pricing comparisons a buyer can act on
  • Structured every page so AI platforms could pull the comparison out directly

Result: these pages get cited by name now for the prompts they target, including “sendmarc alternative,” “valimail alternatives,” and “dmarcian alternatives.”

New Content and Topical Authority

Scoped new pages against two things: gaps in PowerDMARC's own keyword coverage, and the two personas from the discovery survey. Enterprise: CISOs and IT teams working through compliance mandates. MSP and MSSP: providers running authentication across many client domains at once.

  • Built tooling and comparison content for the MSP audience: MSP software, email monitoring, DLP, and encryption services
  • Mapped compliance-triggered content to concrete buying moments: HIPAA-compliant email, PCI DSS for hospitality, the FTC Safeguards Rule
  • Wrote technical depth pieces, including SPF and DKIM setup guides for specific platforms, to back up the checkers and lookups already pulling traffic

International and Adoption Report Content

  • Refreshed the US, UK, and Australia DMARC adoption reports for AI-platform visibility
  • Redid four country landing pages: UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, to capture regional intent better

AI Search Visibility

Ran this the whole seven months, not as a closing phase.

  • Added TLDR summaries to priority pages, so readers and answer engines get an extractable summary up front
  • Ran citation-informed refreshes: rewrote sections based on what AI platforms were citing for PowerDMARC's target prompts, not what we guessed they wanted
  • Rolled out FAQ schema across priority pages, for AI extraction and SERP FAQ features at once
  • Refreshed the proprietary adoption reports against observed citation patterns

Conclusion

PowerDMARC had a strong product and a deep library. Neither was getting credit for itself. We fixed the pages already on the site first. Then we built new pages around how the Enterprise and MSP buyers shop. AI search visibility ran as its own workstream throughout, not bolted on at the end.

Seven months in: content that used to sit on page 2 and 3 holds page one. AI citation share against the competitor set is up 47%. The lead over their closest competitor has nearly doubled. A good share of the new content is still climbing toward where it will settle, so these numbers are a floor.

Client Feedback

One thing that stood out about TripleDart Digital was their willingness to adapt to our needs. Communication was clear and steady throughout the engagement, with regular check-ins and responsive follow-up on questions.
